In quick transcript use the can of cherry in your pantry shelf, instead use a ready made angel food cake cut pieces as you layer maybe with instant jello vanilla pudding mix with crushed pineapple juice and fruit then add the lite cool whip mix well there you go  without the pie crust in your custom container enjoy Eh!?
